Shoot me a message and we will coordinate a date, time, and location. I will then email you an agreement to complete for your session with a tentative pre-session invoice, so you have a general idea of your total cost.
A 25% booking deposit will be required to hold the spot. This will be applied to your final invoice after your session.
The total amount of your tentative pre-session invoice must be paid by or on the day of your session. Payments can be made in cash, check, or via Paypal. Keep in mind post-session invoices may change due to any add-ons such as extra session time or beauty editing.
It’s generally a good idea to stay away from very small stripes and busy patterns. It tends to look overwhelming and distracting in pictures. There are a few basic rules of thumb–darker colors are slimming, lighter colors will widen you, horizontal stripes can widen you, etc. Keep in mind what is flattering with your skin tone. What makes your eye color pop? What shapes are flattering on your body type? Also, does your session have a theme? If you are doing couple, group, or family photos, you want to be somewhat color coordinated–too many random colors will be too distracting. Feel free to ask me suggestions, too.
Of course. Just keep in mind, it takes up time during your session. If it is one outfit change, it probably won’t make a huge difference.
Yes. There is no limit on locations, however, your session begins when we begin shooting. So if we move to a new location in the middle of the session, you will most likely have to add more time to your session.
Travel expense is $0.50 per mile driven round trip to location and in between multiple locations for the session. It allows me to come to you to your favorite park, beach, home, etc. It also allows me to taper my prices to each client, so I do not have to raise my prices altogether.
No! If you cancel 10 days prior to your session, your booking deposit will be returned to you. Your deposit will not be returned if you cancel your session anytime after 10 days.
This is simply because that time slot was reserved from filling with other sessions.
Allowing me to sort your photos allows me to edit a smaller group of photos, which allows me to narrow in on more details and gets your photos back to you faster. This is also a gift! When you have to pick one photo for an graduation announcement or just a few for a Christmas card, your head will pop off trying to determine which photo out of hundreds is best. Trust me.
When I am looking over your photos, here is what I am looking for:
- representative of the theme or event of your session (graduation, engagement, etc.)
- flattering to the client(s)
- sweet in between moments
- candid lifestyle shots
- dynamic composition
- enhancing details in the background or foreground
I have been a hula dancer my whole life, and with that, I have become very good at creating adornments and decor with fresh flowers. A flower crown, lei, or floral background add something unique and beautiful to portraits.
Similar to floral service, craft service entails me making handmade props for your session. I love to make–no matter what it is. I am experienced in crocheting, knitting , sewing, macrame, painting, drawing, and crafting. So weather you want a name banner for your maternity session, or dream catchers hanging from the trees for your bohemian lifestyle shoot, I can deliver. Turn around is around 2-3 weeks, depending upon the package you purchased and the type of editing required. I do my best to get your photos back to you as soon as possible. However, it takes time and multiple editing sessions to see every detail.
